Strategy &

- Revenue GenerationDevelop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve hotel and resort revenue targets. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans in coordination with the General Manager. Identify new business opportunities to increase room bookings, banquet revenue, and resort packages. Drive sales initiatives to improve room occupancy and average room revenue. Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and customer preferences. Develop promotional packages for weekends, holidays, corporate stays, and special occasions. Ensure achievement of individual and departmental sales targets. B.

Corporate

Sales &

- Business DevelopmentIdentify and develop relationships with corporate companies, MNCs, and business houses. Generate corporate room bookings, conferences, meetings, and long-stay business. Conduct regular client visits and corporate presentations. Prepare corporate rate proposals, contracts, and negotiated packages. Build strong relationships with HR departments, travel coordinators, and corporate decision-makers. Follow up on leads and convert enquiries into confirmed business. Maintain a database of corporate clients and potential business accounts. C. Hotel &
- Resort SalesPromote hotel rooms, suites, villas, restaurants, banquets, and resort facilities. Generate sales through leisure travellers, families, group bookings, and destination events. Promote weekend packages, holiday packages, honeymoon packages, and special offers. Coordinate with the Front Office and Reservations teams to maximize room sales. Develop recent business from local markets and outstation clients. Identify opportunities for destination weddings, conferences, and resort events. Ensure proper communication of room rates, availability, and package details to clients. D. Banquet, Events &
- Wedding SalesGenerate enquiries for weddings, receptions, conferences, seminars, and social events. Promote banquet halls, outdoor venues, meeting rooms, and resort event spaces. Conduct property visits and presentations for prospective clients. Prepare quotations, event packages, and commercial proposals. Coordinate with Banquet, F&B;, Operations, and Accounts teams for event execution. Negotiate rates and close event bookings while maintaining profitability.



Follow up on event leads and ensure timely confirmation and advance payments. Maintain records of upcoming events and client requirements. E.

Travel

Trade &

- Channel Partner ManagementDevelop business relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and destination management companies. Generate bookings through travel agents and corporate travel partners. Negotiate commercial agreements and mutually beneficial business terms. Maintain regular communication with travel trade partners. Promote hotel and resort packages through appropriate sales channels. Track booking performance and identify opportunities for increased business. Coordinate with Reservations for availability and booking confirmations. F.

Client Relationship

ManagementMaintain excellent relationships with existing and prospective clients. Conduct regular client meetings, sales calls, and property visits. Understand client requirements and provide customized hospitality solutions.

Handle client queries, complaints, and service-related concerns professionally. Ensure timely follow-up on enquiries, quotations, and pending confirmations. Collect client feedback and coordinate with Operations for service improvement.

Build long-term relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals. G.

Sales Team

CoordinationGuide and supervise Sales Executives and other sales team members. Allocate daily sales activities and client follow-ups. Conduct regular sales meetings to review targets and achievements. Monitor individual team performance and productivity. Train team members on hotel facilities, packages, pricing, and sales techniques. Ensure proper maintenance of sales reports, client databases, and lead trackers. Motivate the team to achieve monthly and annual sales objectives. H.

Sales

Reporting &

- Performance MonitoringPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.



Maintain records of enquiries, leads, conversions, and confirmed bookings. Track room sales, banquet sales, corporate business, and resort package revenue. Monitor sales targets against actual achievements. Submit sales forecasts and business development reports to management. Analyze lost business and identify areas for improvement. Maintain accurate records of client visits, sales calls, and follow-up activities. I. Coordination with Hotel DepartmentsCoordinate with the General Manager regarding sales strategies and business plans. Work closely with Front Office and Reservations for room availability and bookings. Coordinate with F&B; and Banquets for events and corporate functions. Liaise with Accounts regarding billing, payments, credit limits, and outstanding dues. Coordinate with Marketing for promotions, campaigns, and branding activities. Work with Operations to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth event execution. Ensure all sales commitments are properly communicated to concerned departments. 3.

Daily Job

ResponsibilitiesReview daily sales targets and pending enquiries. Conduct client calls and follow-ups. Visit corporate offices, travel agencies, and prospective clients. Promote hotel rooms, banquets, and resort packages. Coordinate with Reservations regarding bookings and availability. Follow up on quotations and payment confirmations. Update CRM / sales tracking software. Review team performance and submit daily sales updates. Handle client requirements and resolve sales-related concerns. 4.

Qualifications &

- ExperienceEducational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Sales &
- Marketing, or a related field. MBA in Sales &
- Marketing or Hospitality Management will be an added advantage.

Experience Required: 4–5 years of relevant experience in hotel and resort sales. Previous experience as Sales Executive / Senior Sales Executive / Assistant Sales Manager / Sales Manager in the hospitality industry. Strong experience in hotel room sales, corporate sales, banquet sales, and business development. Candidates with proven experience in achieving hospitality sales targets will be preferred.
