SALES ANALYSTJob Summary

We are looking for a Sales Analyst to support the sales team by analyzing sales data, identifying business trends, preparing reports, and providing actionable insights to improve sales performance. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, good knowledge of Excel, and the ability to work with large volumes of data.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, analyze, and interpret daily, weekly, and monthly sales data.
- Prepare sales performance reports and management dashboards.
- Track sales targets, achievements, growth, and performance by region, product, and salesperson.
- Analyze sales trends and identify opportunities for business growth.
- Monitor product-wise, territory-wise, and customer-wise sales performance.
- Prepare sales forecasts based on historical data and current market trends.
- Identify gaps between sales targets and actual performance.
- Support the sales team with data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Maintain and update sales databases and MIS reports.
- Monitor distributor/customer sales and identify slow-moving or high-performing products.
- Prepare management presentations and business review reports.
- Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Production, and other departments for accurate data.
- Ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies in sales reports.
- Develop and improve Excel-based reports, dashboards, and automated MIS.




- Provide ad-hoc analysis and reports as required by management.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel – Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF, charts, and dashboards.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Power BI is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of sales and business KPIs.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to handle large datasets.
- Good time management and coordination skills.

Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in Sales Analytics, MIS, Business Analytics, or a related role.
- Freshers with solid Excel and analytical skills can also be considered.

Preferred Candidate: A candidate who is analytical, detail-oriented, business-focused, and comfortable working with Excel and sales data. Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
