Role Description The Safety Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dholera.

The Safety

Officer will oversee daily safety operations, including monitoring work areas, identifying hazards, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and security standards.

Responsibilities include conducting regular safety inspections, supporting occupational health practices, and coordinating emergency preparedness activities. The role involves delivering safety training sessions, maintaining safety documentation, and promoting a safety-first culture among all site personnel.

Officer will also lead or support accident investigations, recommend corrective actions, and work closely with management and project teams to implement safety improvements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Health & Safety and Occupational Health skills, with a solid understanding of relevant regulations and best practices.
- Candidates should possess skills in Accident Investigation, including root-cause analysis, incident reporting, and corrective action planning.
- Candidates should possess Security-related skills to help manage access control, site security protocols, and risk mitigation measures.
- Candidates should possess Safety Training skills, with the ability to design and deliver clear, practical training sessions for diverse teams.
- Relevant certifications in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) are highly beneficial.
- Experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, or industrial project environments is preferred.
- Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills, with the ability to influence and coach others on safe work practices.
- Ability to work on-site in Dholera, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and respond effectively in urgent or emergency situations.
