Responsibilities
Robotics Software Development
- Develop robotics applications using C++/Python and ROS/ROS2.
- Design modular and reusable software architecture for AMRs.
- Integrate LiDAR, 3D LiDAR, cameras, IMU, encoders, and other sensors.
- Develop communication interfaces and middleware integration.
- Integrate robot hardware, motor controllers, and sensors.
Navigation & Autonomous Mobility
- Develop autonomous navigation and path-planning systems for AMRs.
- Implement and configure ROS2 Navigation (Nav2).
- Develop SLAM, localization, mapping, and obstacle avoidance systems.
- Optimize navigation for dynamic and industrial environments.
- Implement waypoint, route, and mission-based navigation.
- Develop recovery behaviors and autonomous robot behaviors. Debug and optimize navigation performance on physical robots.
Perception & Sensor Integration
- Integrate and configure LiDAR, cameras, IMU, and odometry.
- Develop sensor fusion and environmental perception systems.
- Implement obstacle detection and avoidance.
- Integrate computer vision and object detection when required.
Simulation & AI
- Develop and test AMR applications using Gazebo and Isaac Sim.
- Simulate navigation and sensor configurations before deployment.
- Apply imitation learning and reinforcement learning where applicable
Required Skills
- 1+ year of experience in Robotics/AMR
- C++ and Python
- ROS/ROS2
- ROS2 Navigation (Nav2)
- SLAM and Localization
- Path Planning and Motion Planning
- Sensor Fusion
- LiDAR / 3D LiDAR
- IMU and Odometry
- Obstacle Detection and Avoidance
- Gazebo
- Isaac Sim
- Basic knowledge of Imitation Learning and Reinforcement Learning
- Hands-on experience with AMRs/mobile robots
