Payment Handling: Cashiers process payments via cash, credit cards, or other methods, issue receipts, and ensure the cash drawer is balanced at the start and end of each shift . Accuracy in handling money and familiarity with POS systems or credit card machines is essential.

Order Management: Cashiers input customer orders into the POS system, communicate with kitchen staff, and ensure orders are accurate and delivered on time. He/she may also assist in separating checks and managing special requests.

Operational Support: Responsibilities can include assisting other staff, helping with inventory, restocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness at the cashier station, and supporting closing procedures.

Maintaining of cash book, petty cash, etc.,
