Position Title:

Resident Medical Officer (RMO) Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Key Responsibilities

- Clinical & Patient Care: Manage the day-to-day clinical care of ICU patients, conduct thorough ward rounds, track diagnostic results, and dynamically adjust treatment plans in alignment with Consultant directives.
- Procedures & Airway Management: Perform independent invasive procedures, including endotracheal intubation, central venous catheterization, arterial line placement, and intercostal drainage as clinically indicated.
- Ventilatory Support: Initiate, monitor, and optimize mechanical ventilation settings (invasive and non-invasive) based on clinical status and Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) analysis.
- Emergency Response & Resuscitation: Lead and execute advanced resuscitation measures (ALS/ACLS protocols) during acute emergencies and cardiac/respiratory arrests across the unit.




- Critical Monitoring & Hemodynamics: Interpret invasive hemodynamic parameters, manage vasoactive/inotropic support, and direct early targeted goal therapy for severe sepsis and septic shock.
- Documentation & Handover: Maintain accurate, real-time clinical documentation and deliver structured, high-yield shift handovers to ensure continuity of care.
