Role Description The Reservations Manager is responsible for overseeing all reservation activities, ensuring efficient room bookings, and maximizing occupancy and revenue. This full-time, on-site role based in Trivandrum includes managing reservation systems, responding promptly to inquiries, confirming bookings, and coordinating with front office and sales teams for seamless guest experiences. The role involves monitoring room inventory, preparing reservation reports, and implementing strategies to optimize rates and availability.

The Reservations

Manager will handle guest communication regarding bookings, changes, and cancellations, while maintaining accurate records and adherence to hotel policies. This position also includes supervising and guiding reservations staff, providing training, and supporting continuous improvement in service quality.

Qualifications

- Robust reservations and booking management skills, including experience with hotel reservation systems and inventory control.




- Excellent customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with guests, travel agents, and internal teams.
- Sales and upselling skills, with the ability to promote hotel services, packages, and special offers to increase revenue.
- Experience in training and supervising team members, with the ability to coach staff and support consistent service standards.
- Prior experience in hotel operations or hospitality management, preferably in a similar reservations or front office role.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Proficiency with common office software and property management systems; familiarity with reporting and basic data analysis.
- Diploma or degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Trivandrum, with flexibility for peak seasons, weekends, and holidays as required.
