Role Description The Reservations & Sales Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based at The Amaya Resort in Kolkata. This position is responsible for handling guest inquiries, managing room reservations, and ensuring accurate booking details in reservation systems.

The coordinator supports sales activities by preparing proposals, following up on leads, and maintaining organized records of corporate and group bookings. Daily tasks include communicating with guests and partners via phone and email, coordinating with front office and operations teams, and assisting in maximizing occupancy and revenue. The role also involves providing attentive customer service,



resolving booking issues, and contributing to a seamless guest experience from pre-arrival to departure.

Qualifications

- Strong Sales Coordination and Sales Operations skills to manage bookings, group reservations, and support sales processes.
- Customer Service and Communication skills to respond to inquiries, handle guest concerns, and maintain professional interactions.
- Sales skills to identify opportunities, follow up on leads, and support revenue generation initiatives.
- Experience with reservation systems or property management systems and basic proficiency in office software (e.g., MS Office).
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a quick-paced hospitality environment.
- Prior experience in hotel reservations, front office, or sales coordination is preferred.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, as required by resort operations.
