R&D; Chemist As an R&D; Chemist at MKS MSD, the selected candidate will collaborate with the Business Unit-SFC to support product development and associated activities. Reporting to the R&D; Manager for Surface Finishing, the role involves conducting various R&D; activities related to product development, testing, qualification, troubleshooting, and process optimization.

The candidate is expected to communicate openly with team members and contribute innovative ideas to enhance project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities





- Conduct laboratory experiments and pilot line demonstrations for new product development.
- Create designs of experiments (DOE) and manage assigned projects.
- Develop and modify product formulations based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with team members in a laboratory environment.
- Promote research orientation and contribute to technical papers and patents.
- Maintain compliance with departmental guidelines and safety protocols.
- Interact with customers for troubleshooting and process optimization.
- Ensure effective communication of task progress to stakeholders.

Eligibility Criteria

- Minimum 3 years of experience in chemical, electrochemical, or polymer industries.
- Educational background in MSc Chemistry or related fields.
- Experience in developing formulations and qualifications in chemical laboratories.
- Basic understanding of solvents, polymers, and reaction mechanisms.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in project management and statistical applications.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in statistics and data interpretation.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Creative and creative thinking with a focus on R&D.;
