Key Responsibilities

- Implement and monitor safety policies, procedures, and EHS management systems.

- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across plant areas.

- Identify workplace hazards and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.

- Monitor compliance with statutory safety regulations and company safety standards.

- Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for employees and contractors.

- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and prepare detailed reports.

- Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols at the shop floor.

- Coordinate emergency preparedness drills and evacuation programs.

- Maintain safety records, permits, compliance documents, and audit reports.

- Monitor contractor safety compliance during project and maintenance activities.





- Support implementation of ISO 45001 and other safety management systems.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace safety performance.

- Coordinate with department heads to achieve organizational safety objectives.

Key Skills Required

- Robust knowledge of Industrial Safety and EHS practices.

- Understanding of statutory compliances, Factory Act, and safety regulations.

- Experience in incident investigation and risk assessment.

- Good communication, training, and stakeholder management skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office and safety documentation.

- Strong observation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
