We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Tester – Fresher to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for testing web and software applications, identifying issues, and ensuring that applications meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand project requirements and testing requirements.
- Prepare and execute basic test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform manual testing of web and software applications.
- Identify, report, and track bugs and issues.
- Perform functional, regression, and usability testing.
- Re-test fixed issues and verify their resolution.
- Perform cross-browser and responsive testing.
- Work closely with developers and team members to understand and resolve issues.
- Maintain testing documents and reports.
- Learn and follow QA processes and best practices.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Software Testing and QA concepts.
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Understanding of test cases, test scenarios,
and bug life cycle.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn new testing tools and technologies.
- Basic knowledge of Jira or any bug-tracking tool is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of API testing, SQL, or automation testing will be a plus.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Freshers with relevant QA/testing knowledge or training can apply.
- Candidates should have a strong interest in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
