Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Vice Principal and Professor – Nursing to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have an M.Sc. Nursing qualification with a minimum of 5 years of relevant teaching experience and strong academic and leadership skills.

The candidate will be responsible for academic planning, faculty coordination, student mentoring, clinical training, and maintaining high standards of nursing education.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate academic activities of the Nursing Department.
- Plan and monitor teaching schedules, lesson plans, clinical postings, and examinations.
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing faculty members.
- Ensure effective implementation of the nursing curriculum.
- Monitor student attendance, academic progress, and clinical performance.
- Coordinate clinical training and postings with affiliated hospitals.
- Guide students in academic, clinical, research, and professional development.
- Encourage faculty and student participation in research, seminars, workshops, and conferences.




- Maintain academic records and departmental documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable university, nursing council, and regulatory requirements.
- Support inspections, accreditation processes, audits, and institutional quality initiatives.
- Handle academic and student-related concerns professionally.
- Contribute to the overall development and growth of the Nursing College.

Eligibility & Qualifications
- M.Sc. Nursing from a recognized university/institution.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant teaching experience in Nursing.
- Valid Nursing Council registration as applicable.
- Experience in academic administration or leadership will be preferred.
- Robust knowledge of nursing education, clinical training, and curriculum planning.
- Excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
