Job Summary:

Seeking a Product Manager I with 1-3 years of experience in product management, preferably in a B2C environment. You will work closely with design, engineering, data science, and other cross-functional teams to identify user problems, define product requirements, and drive the execution of impactful product experiences. The ideal candidate is curious, data-driven, comfortable with ambiguity, and passionate about building easy, user-centric solutions at scale.

ABOUT THE TEAM:

Product is integral to shaping the user experience at JioHotstar. Our teams work across multiple product areas to build engaging, intuitive, and scalable experiences for millions of users. We work closely across Product, Design, Engineering, Data Science, UX Research, and Content to identify user needs, derive insights from data, and build experiences that drive meaningful impact.

Key responsibilities

- Work with product managers, designers, engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to identify user problems and define product opportunities
- Own product initiatives from problem discovery and requirement definition through execution, launch, and measurement
- Translate user needs and business objectives into clear product requirements, user stories, and execution plans
- Use data, user insights, and experimentation to identify opportunities and make informed product decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product solutions, prioritize requirements, and ensure timely execution
- Track product and business metrics to evaluate impact and continuously improve the user experience
- Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and competitive products to identify opportunities for innovation
- Leverage AI tools in day-to-day product workflows to improve research, analysis, documentation, ideation, and overall execution efficiency

Skills and attributes for success:

- 1-3 years of experience as a full-time Product Manager; candidates with only internship experience will not be considered




- Preferably have experience building and scaling B2C products or consumer-facing experiences
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive product decisions
- Ability to clearly articulate product thinking, user problems, prioritization, and product rationale
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineering, design, data, and business teams
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and stretched timelines
- Strong ownership, execution focus, attention to detail, and a user-first mindset
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve day-to-day productivity and professional workflows
- Exposure to Search, Recommendations, Personalisation, Discovery, or AI/ML-based products or features is a plus
- Experience working on an AI-powered product or feature is a plus, but not mandatory

Preferred education and experience:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent from a reputed institution preferred
- Overall 1-3 years of experience in Product Management, with experience as a full-time Product Manager
- Prior experience in B2C/consumer technology products is preferred
- Exposure to Search, Recommendations, Personalisation, Discovery, or AI/ML is an added advantage
