About Rivane

Rivane is an AI native finance ERP for multi entity businesses. Continuous close, consolidation across entities and currencies, real time reporting, with a full audit trail behind every figure. Most accounting software assumes one company, one currency, one language. Groups running entities across India, the UAE, Saudi and the UK end up consolidating in spreadsheets every month. We handle group consolidation, currency translation and intercompany elimination as core accounting, with e-invoicing and local tax compliance built in per country.

We are early. You would be one of the first people in the company and the first accountant in the building.

The role

You are not testing software. You are the accountant who uses Rivane the way a client would, finds everything wrong with it, and explains why it is wrong. Every week you will close a set of books in Rivane. Where the system fights you, you will document it, rank it by what would actually stop a client switching, and work with engineering to fix it. Where we have designed something no real finance team would accept, you will tell us before a customer does.

You will also be the person who knows how Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, NetSuite and SAP handle a given workflow, and can say clearly where we are behind and where we are ahead.

What you will do

- Run month end close in Rivane on realistic multi entity, multi currency data
- Document defects, gaps and bad design decisions, ranked by commercial impact
- Define correct accounting behaviour for engineers who are excellent at software and not at accounting
- Benchmark Rivane against the systems clients are switching from
- Pressure test compliance and e-invoicing behaviour across jurisdictions
- Join customer and prospect calls and translate what finance teams actually need
- Help write the accounting documentation and onboarding material

What we need

Required





- Three or more years owning a month end close, in house. Not audit, not advisory. You have closed the books yourself
- Hands on experience with multi entity consolidation, including intercompany elimination
- Deep working knowledge of at least two accounting systems, ideally one SME tool and one mid market ERP
- Indian GST, TDS and statutory reporting
- The ability to explain why a workflow is wrong, not only that it feels wrong
- Clear written English. Most of your output is written

Robust plus

- Indian e-invoicing experience, IRP and IRN generation, schema validation, reconciliation against GSTR filings. This maps closely to what the Gulf is rolling out now and is genuinely valuable here
- Multi currency consolidation and FX translation
- GCC exposure: UAE VAT, corporate tax, ZATCA, or time worked in the Gulf
- Involvement in an ERP implementation or migration, from either side
- Qualification: CA, ACCA, CPA or CMA
- Experience in a group with entities in more than one country

Probably not a fit

- Pure audit or advisory background with no in house closing experience
- You need software to work properly before you can be productive. Ours will not, for a while
