Prod Support Control & Governance Manager / Associate Manager

We’re looking for a leader that will be responsible for leading a quality engineering group within Core Tech in our Hyderabad Center to deliver on strategic business capabilities as well as modernize the current solution. This role will be responsible for quality engineering in the HIH Center for Core Tech.

As an Associate Manager/Manager – Control & Governance, you will lead the design, operation and continuous improvement of engineering controls across the service. You will partner with engineering, delivery, operations,



risk, compliance and vendor stakeholders to ensure consistent governance, transparent decision-making and sustained audit readiness.

Responsibilities

- Own, maintain and enforce engineering, SDLC, release and change governance frameworks across the service.
- Lead governance forums and the Change Control Board (CCB), ensuring timely approvals, complete evidence, clear decisions and end-to-end traceability.
- Oversee vendor governance through performance reviews, compliance monitoring, risk management and contractual adherence.
- Maintain continuous audit, regulatory and internal-control readiness, coordinating evidence and responses across accountable teams.
- Standardize governance reporting packs, control metrics and scorecards to provide portfolio-wide visibility into compliance, risks and remediation status.
- Identify control gaps, assess their impact and drive sustainable remediation with clearly accountable owners through to verified closure.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of engineering governance, SDLC controls, release management and change-management practices.
- Demonstrated experience operating governance forums or Change Control Boards and maintaining approval, evidence and traceability records.
- Working knowledge of risk, compliance, audit and internal-control principles within a technology or regulated-services environment.
- Strong vendor-governance capability, including performance management, compliance oversight, issue escalation and contractual adherence.
- Ability to define control metrics,



produce executive-ready reporting packs and translate data into clear risks, decisions and actions.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and drive accountability.
- Proficiency with tools used for workflow, evidence and reporting management, such as JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow or equivalent platforms.

Required Experience & Education:

- 9+ years of experience in technology delivery, engineering operations, governance, risk, compliance or a related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience leading governance activities, control programmes or cross-functional teams in a complex enterprise environment.
- Proven experience managing audit or regulatory readiness, control testing, remediation tracking and evidence-based closure.
- Experience governing third-party vendors in an onshore/offshore delivery model.
- Relevant certification in IT service management, risk, audit, security, governance, Agile or project management is preferred

Desired Experience:

- Experience in healthcare technology or another highly regulated industry.
- Knowledge of recognized control and governance frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, NIST or equivalent.
- Experience developing governance dashboards, scorecards or automated control reporting using data-visualization or workflow tools.
- Experience driving control improvements and embedding sustainable governance practices across distributed engineering teams.

HIH Offshore Hyderabad Office.
