Finance Lead - Indirect Taxation Principal Lead

Qualification: Post Graduation -Finance / Tax

Experience: 12 -18 Years

Package: 12 – 15 Lacs

Age – Around 40 Years

Location: Coimbatore- Thennampalayam

Preferably from Manufacturing Domain

Preferences will Be Given for Immediate Joiners A Finance Lead in Indirect Taxation and Special Schemes manages indirect taxes (like GST, customs, and VAT) and leads government incentive programs for an organization

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Tax Compliance: Oversee accurate and timely filing of indirect tax returns and reports.
2. Special Schemes Management: Identify and apply for government incentives, export promotions, and special economic zone (SEZ) benefits.
3. Risk Management: Monitor tax law changes and lower financial risks.
4. Audits and Assessments: Handle tax audits and talk to tax authorities.
5. Advisory Support: Give tax advice to business units for current projects and supply chain setups.
6. Process Improvement:



Build automated systems to track tax credits and refunds.
7. Skills: Deep knowledge of GST, customs laws, and foreign trade policies.

Required Skills

1. Researching advanced Indian GST, Entry Tax/Octroi, Service Tax and Central Excise Tax and other indirect tax issues - working with tax authorities and outside advisers as necessary - as part of a global tax team
2. Providing / developing end-to-end tax requirements for projects and business initiatives.
3. Developing and evaluating Indian GST, Entry Tax/Octroi, Service Tax and Central Excise Tax and other indirect tax planning opportunities and strategies
4. Assisting with managing, coordinating and reviewing Indian tax compliance for all indirect taxes
5. Advanced knowledge of Excise, Service Tax and GST
