About the Role

Edify World School, Shamshabad, Hyderabad, is seeking an accomplished, visionary IB Continuum Principal to lead the school's academic, operational, and strategic development.

We're looking for someone with strong experience across the IB PYP, MYP, and DP continuum

, who can build a high-performing learning culture, develop faculty, strengthen academic outcomes, and drive the overall growth of the school.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide strategic academic and operational leadership for the school.
- Lead and strengthen the IB PYP, MYP and DP programmes.
- Ensure curriculum alignment, continuity and high-quality teaching and learning across the IB continuum.
- Lead IB authorization, evaluation and reauthorization processes.
- Develop, mentor and evaluate academic and leadership teams.
- Establish a strong culture of inquiry, international-mindedness and student-centered learning.
- Monitor academic performance, student progress and school improvement initiatives.
- Drive teacher recruitment, professional development and performance management.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, staff and the wider community.




- Oversee school operations, policies, safeguarding and compliance.
- Support admissions, parent engagement and overall school growth.
- Represent the school professionally with the IB community and external stakeholders.

Candidate Profile
- Master's degree with B.Ed./M.Ed. or equivalent professional qualification.
- 5+ years of experience in Principal / Head of School / senior school leadership.
- Strong experience in IB PYP, MYP and DP .
- Candidates with experience leading an IB Continuum school will be preferred.
- Robust understanding of IB philosophy, curriculum and assessment practices.
- Experience with IB authorization/evaluation processes is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, mentoring and stakeholder-management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong academic teams and drive school improvement.
- Exposure to international/CBSE schooling will be an added advantage.
