Research Areas / Technical Skills

- Candidates should have expertise in one or more of the following:
- Computer Vision & Image/Video Understanding
- Object Detection, Classification, Segmentation and Recognition
- CNNs, Vision Transformers (ViTs) and Vision Foundation Models
- Vision-Language / Multimodal Models
- Generative AI and Diffusion Models
- 3D Computer Vision, Pose Estimation and Object Tracking
- Self-Supervised and Representation Learning
- Image/Video Generation and Enhancement
- Robust programming skills in Python
- Hands-on experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow
- OpenCV and scientific computing libraries
- GPU-based model training, optimization and experimentation

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct independent and collaborative research in Computer Vision and AI.
- Develop novel algorithms and deep learning architectures for challenging vision problems.
- Design, implement and evaluate state-of-the-art Computer Vision models.
- Develop research prototypes and conduct rigorous experimental validation.
- Prepare and publish research findings in high-quality journals and international conferences.
- Contribute to research proposals,



technical reports and project deliverables.
- Mentor Ph.D. scholars, research students and project staff.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary research teams and contribute to funded research projects.
- Stay updated with emerging developments in Computer Vision, Generative AI and Vision Foundation Models.

Desirable

- Experience in developing end-to-end AI/Computer Vision systems.
- Experience with large-scale datasets, distributed/GPU computing and model deployment
- Ability to independently formulate research problems and drive projects from concept to publication/prototype

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification and Experience

- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a closely related discipline.
- Candidates with a strong research background in Computer Vision and Deep Learning are encouraged to apply.

Salary 65,000 per month (May scale based on experience & expertise )
