We are looking for a motivated and experienced Plant Finance Controller to join our team!

Education Qualification & Certifications Required

- Qualification: CA / CMA (@ 10–15 yrs)
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent platforms would be preferred.

Functional Skills

Plant Financial Management & Reporting

- Manage the overall finance and accounting activities of the plant.
- Prepare monthly financial and costing reports for plants and formulate MIS and management reports.
- Analyse plant performance of production budgets, periodical sales forecasts, inventory movements and opportunities for rationalization of costs.
- Provide timely financial insights and recommendations to the Plant Head and senior management, ensure accuracy and timely closure of monthly plant accounts.

Costing & Cost Control





- Monitor and analyse manufacturing costs, including material, labour, overheads, and conversion costs.
- Review product costing and standard costing and analyse variances.
- Identify cost reduction and productivity improvement opportunities.
- Analyse material consumption, wastage, scrap, yield, and production efficiency.
- Support pricing and profitability analysis for products and business segments.

Inventory & Working Capital Management

- Ensure effective financial control over raw materials, work-in-progress, finished goods, and stores inventory.
- Monitor inventory ageing, slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
- Participate in physical stock verification and ensure timely reconciliation of inventory records.
- Drive initiatives to optimise working capital and inventory levels.

Internal Controls & Compliance

- Establish and maintain robust financial and operational controls at the plant.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, statutory requirements.
- Participate in designing and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures for Production, Operations and Financial areas.
- Monitor financial risks and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

The Plant Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the complete finance function at the manufacturing plants, including costing, budgeting, financial reporting, inventory control, working capital management, internal controls, and business performance analysis. The role will act as a key business partner to the Plant Head and operations team to drive profitability, cost efficiency, optimization of plant inventories, and financial discipline. He will primarily be based at local plant locations on rotation and on need basis will report to the Corporate Office.
