10+ years of proven experience in Utility Maintenance of Electrical parts.

Key Responsibility:

1) Shopfloor Machine Maintenance

- Equipment Maintenance: Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines across the Assembly, Paint, and Fabrication shops.
- Daily Support: Handle day-to-day breakdown maintenance of all plant machinery and equipment.
- Spare Parts Management: Lead spare parts planning and raise new requests in the LN system. Develop spare parts locally with regional vendors.
- Issue Resolution: Attend daily meetings and resolve internal customer issues promptly.
- Root Cause Analysis: Perform EWO (Equipment Work Order) analysis, root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions for all breakdowns.
- Shutdown Planning: Plan and execute annual Diwali Shutdown maintenance work across the plant.
- Electrical Upkeep: Perform complete preventive maintenance of the electrical system, including High Tension (HT) and Low Tension (LT) breakers and transformers.
- Metrics: Monitor maintenance KPIs such as MTTR, MTBF, and Breakdown Percentage (BD%).
- OEM Coordination: Coordinate with OEMs for the timely servicing of critical machinery and handle AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) management.
- Specialized Capability: Develop technical competency for Laser and Bending machine maintenance, ensuring timely servicing and shutdown coordination with production teams.
- Safety & Training: Check the operations and functions of all safety systems and interlocks in plant equipment. Conduct in-house safety training for shopfloor employees and technical training for the maintenance team.
- Manpower Management: Track daily maintenance manpower deployment and manage the LDM (Local Daily Management) board for the department.

2) Utility Maintenance & Management

- Utility Infrastructure: Maintain and handle the compressed air system, power transformers, Diesel Generators (DG), compressors, LT/HT panels, and Vacuum/Air Circuit Breakers (VCB/ACB).
- Power Distribution: Test and service electrical power distribution boards to ensure a stable electrical network.
- Energy Auditing: Monitor and control energy consumption within utilities and engineering processes.
- Budgetary Control: Monitor expenditures regularly against the targeted budget. Escalate misalignments to the supervisor to control maintenance and repair costs, supporting the annual 8% plant savings target through the PM pillar.
- Compliance Testing: Conduct yearly testing of all earth pits, power transformers, energy meters, and electrical safety systems in power distribution.
- Equipment Availability: Maintain 100% continuous availability for all utility equipment, diesel generators,



compressed air systems, and emergency lighting networks.
- Facility HVAC: Manage the operations and maintenance of office and canteen air conditioning systems.
- Backup Power: Ensure all UPS and emergency backup systems across the plant are fully operational.
- Facilities Infrastructure: Provide preventive and breakdown maintenance for all utility machinery, the ETP/STP plant, Fire Hydrant Systems, and FDAS (Fire Detection and Alarm Systems).
- Fire Safety Testing: Execute functional tests on beam detectors, smoke detectors, flow switches, heat/multifunction detectors, fire alarm panels, and repeater alarm panels.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive cost reduction initiatives through the CNH Business System (CBS) and Continuous Improvement (CI) activities.

3) Safety Management

- Safety Audits: Perform SMAT (Safety Management Audit Training) and EMAT (Environmental Management Audit Training) audits across the utility block, ETP/STP plant, and maintenance zones.
- Permit to Work: Issue safety work permits, enforce vendor safety protocols, and ensure the proper closure of all work permits.
- Hazard Identification: Identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and manage PM & Safety tags. Analyse and close SEWO (Safety EWO) and Environmental EWO cases.
- EHS Compliance: Support the EHS department during propane tank testing, hydro-testing of pressure vessels, and in fulfilling all statutory/legal plant requirements.
- Engineering Controls: Implement safety projects, including Safety Poka-Yoke systems and modifications on existing machinery for enhanced engineering control.
- Risk Mitigation: Focus on high-risk aspects and environmental impacts to implement risk-reduction projects for maintenance activities.

4) Energy & Water Resource Management

- Energy Analysis: Complete daily energy analysis across all shopfloors and individual feeders. Track and circulate data on propane gas, diesel, and oil consumption.
- Energy Standards : Well divergent with ISO 50001 Energy standards Requirements & its implementation
- Sustainability KPIs: Identify current energy-saving and cost-reduction projects. Monitor, track, and take actions on monthly sustainability global KPIs (CO2 footprint and Gj energy consumption).
- ETP/STP Operations:



Manage the operation and preventive maintenance of all electrical and mechanical machinery within the ETP/STP plant.
- Water Tracking: Monitor daily water consumption across the shopfloor, offices, and canteen. Ensure proper water supply to all plant washrooms, canteens, and production areas.
- Water Recycling: Maximize the utilization of treated water from the STP/ETP while tracking overall treatment metrics.
- Firefighting Readiness: Maintain the plant firefighting system, ensuring all fire hydrant pumps in the pump house are serviced, fully operational, and continuously deployment-ready.
- Best Practices: Coordinate with the central team to implement best-in-class energy and PM practices for cost optimization and KPI enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

- Customer: Satisfy internal customers by securing optimal equipment availability to meet production requirements. Provide dependable facility and utility operations at the right cost and quality.
- Safety: Stay accountable for enforcing safety standards and protocols. Execute safety projects, support manufacturing engineering/safety teams, and ensure adherence to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Quality: Secure plant equipment reliability and upkeep to consistently deliver desired product quality.
- Delivery: Partner with the plant engineering and production teams on resource planning, scheduling, supervision, and technical guidance to achieve production deliverables. Maintain plant facilities through robust utility management.
- Business Initiatives: Plan and implement new CNH Business Systems (CBS) initiatives.
- People, Culture & Training: Drive skill development programs for department employees on all new equipment.
- Profit: Achieve budgeted/forecasted efficiency targets and control operational expenses for the Pune plant. Secure a minimum 8% budgeted cost savings through active project management.

Leadership / Team Management Responsibility

- Drive continuous improvement by planning, controlling, and tracking performance across key KPIs: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity.
- Lead manpower development, foster team involvement, and manage team reward and recognition programs.
- Ensure the overall cost competitiveness of plant and equipment maintenance operations.

Minimum Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Language(s)

- Education/Qualifications: B.E. / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering
- Licensure: Valid Electrical Supervisory License
- Certification: Electrical Safety Certification
- Essential Experience and Skills: 10+ years of proven experience in Plant Engineering, Facility Management, and Project Execution.
