Job Requirements &

- Responsibilities

- Record and maintain all accounting transactions in accordance with applicable accounting principles and company policies.
- Prepare and process sales invoices, purchase invoices, bills, and other accounting entries.
- Handle purchase accounting and inventory accounting, including monitoring inventory costs and maintaining accurate stock-related records.
- Maintain and monitor inventory records and reconciliation with books of accounts.
- Perform vendor/creditor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies on a timely basis.
- Ensure timely processing of payments to vendors, employees, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and file GST returns, including reconciliation of GST data and related compliance.
- Prepare and file TDS returns, ensure timely deductions and payments, and maintain related records.
- Ensure compliance with other applicable statutory requirements, including Professional Tax.
- Maintain general ledgers and ensure accuracy of books of accounts.
- Manage accounting activities through ERP/accounting software, including transaction entries, reporting, reconciliations, and other finance-related processes.
- Assist in capital asset management and maintain fixed asset registers/ledgers.
- Prepare and finalize month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounts within defined timelines.




- Support audits and provide required financial information and documentation.
- Maintain financial security and accuracy by following established internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, customers, and other stakeholders regarding accounting and financial matters.

Qualifications &

- Skills

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing/plant environment.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems is mandatory; experience in accounting modules such as Purchase, Sales, Inventory, GST, and Finance will be preferred.

- Practical experience in GST and TDS calculation, reconciliation, payment, and return filing is required.
- Strong experience in inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, inventory costing, and monitoring inventory-related transactions.
- Robust proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
- Good understanding of accounting principles, statutory compliance, and financial controls.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet strict deadlines.
- Thorough knowledge of GST, TDS, Qualified Tax, and other applicable statutory compliances.
- Strong problem-solving and reconciliation skills.
