Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and experienced PGT Economics Teacher to teach senior secondary students. The candidate should have strong knowledge of Economics and the ability to explain concepts using practical examples, data and analytical approaches.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Economics to Classes XI–XII as per the school curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials and classroom activities.
- Explain concepts related to microeconomics, macroeconomics, statistics and related topics.
- Use practical examples, current economic scenarios and data to improve conceptual understanding.
- Conduct class tests, assessments and examinations.
- Prepare students for board examinations.
- Monitor student performance and provide academic support.
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning setting.
- Maintain academic records and required documentation.
- Participate in school meetings, activities and academic events.

Required Qualification & Skills
- M.A. / M.Sc. / equivalent qualification in Economics is required.
- B.Ed. is required.




- Strong knowledge of Economics and related concepts.
- Good analytical, communication and classroom management skills.
- Experience teaching senior secondary Economics preferred.
- CBSE school experience will be an advantage.
- Candidates who can join immediately will be preferred.
