- Minimum 5 years experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE, including 1 to 2 years leading technical work
- Hands on production experience with Amazon EKS, not Kubernetes in general only
- Robust AWS experience across IAM, VPC, networking, compute, and storage
- Proven track record migrating applications onto Kubernetes from VMs, Docker Swarm, or other legacy platforms
- Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, including module design and state management
- Strong automation skills in Python or Go
- Helm, container image scanning, and Kubernetes RBAC
- CI/CD pipeline design using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar
- Strong Linux administration and networking fundamentals
- Kubernetes observability using Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar
- Clear written communication and comfort working with US based teams
- Nice to have
- Hands on Crossplane experience, including writing compositions and providers
- GitOps with ArgoCD or Flux
- Building Kubernetes operators or controllers in Go
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or an AWS certification

Senior Engineer Consultant

Roles & Responsibilities





- Build and operate production Amazon EKS clusters covering upgrades, networking, scaling, and security hardening
- Migrate standalone and legacy applications onto EKS from Docker Swarm, VMs, and self hosted tooling
- Own migrations end to end: assessment, containerization, cutover plan, validation, and rollback
- Build self service infrastructure provisioning with Crossplane so application teams can request resources through code
- Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Crossplane compositions
- Automate deployments through GitOps using ArgoCD or Flux
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications
- Improve platform reliability and performance through metrics, logs, traces, and alerting
- Serve as technical lead on cross team migration projects
- Support application teams on cluster access, deployments, connectivity, and troubleshooting
- Write runbooks and onboarding guides, and run enablement sessions for internal teams
