About the Role
EuroSchool North Campus is looking for a passionate and experienced Dance Coach to train and mentor students in various dance forms. The coach will be responsible for conducting engaging dance sessions, developing students’ skills and confidence, and preparing them for school events, competitions, and performances.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular dance classes for students across different age groups.
- Teach age-appropriate dance techniques, movements, choreography, and basic fitness.
- Plan and deliver engaging and structured dance sessions.
- Identify and nurture students with an interest or talent in dance.
- Prepare students for school events, annual day, competitions, celebrations, and cultural programmes.
- Create and teach choreography suitable for school performances.
- Ensure proper warm-up, stretching, and safe dance practices during sessions.
- Maintain discipline and a positive,
encouraging learning environment.
- Coordinate with teachers and the school activity/event team.
- Ensure all activities follow the school’s Child Protection and Safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Formal training or certification in Dance, Performing Arts, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience as a Dance Coach/Instructor, preferably in a school environment.
- Knowledge of one or more dance forms such as Western, Bollywood, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Classical, Jazz, etc.
- Robust choreography and performance skills.
- Positive communication and classroom-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with children and students of different age groups.
- Energetic, creative, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
