Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated ITI Fitter with 2 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, automotive, aerospace, or industrial environments. The candidate will be responsible for assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment, machinery, and components while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

Mechanical Assembly & Fitting

- Assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and equipment as per engineering drawings.

- Perform fitting, alignment, and adjustment of machine parts and assemblies.

- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.

- Conduct drilling, tapping, grinding, cutting, and fabrication activities as required.

Maintenance Activities

- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines and equipment.

- Inspect machinery regularly to identify wear, defects, and potential failures.

- Replace defective parts and ensure proper functioning of equipment.

- Assist in machine installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.

Quality & Safety

- Ensure all work is completed according to quality standards and specifications.

- Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company safety guidelines.

- Maintain proper housekeeping in the work area according to 5S standards.





- Report any unsafe conditions or equipment abnormalities immediately.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain maintenance logs, inspection records, and job completion reports.

- Coordinate with supervisors and engineers regarding maintenance schedules and work progress.

- Support continuous improvement and productivity enhancement initiatives.

Requirements

Qualifications : ITI/ Diploma - Fitter with 2-3 Years Experience in any Manufacturing Industries

Required Skills
- Knowledge of mechanical fitting tools and measuring instruments.

- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.

- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

- Hands-on experience in machine assembly and maintenance.

- Understanding of safety practices in industrial environments.

- Positive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Teamwork and communication abilities.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in CNC machines, production equipment, or industrial machinery.

- Knowledge of welding, fabrication, or basic machining operations.

- Exposure to TPM, Kaizen, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing practices.
