Role Description This is a full time, on-site Mechanical Technician role based at the TRPL manufacturing facility in Rajahmundry.

The Mechanical

Technician will inspect, operate, and maintain mechanical equipment used in solar glass production, ensuring smooth and safe operation of machinery. Daily tasks include performing routine and preventive maintenance, identifying mechanical issues, and carrying out repairs to minimize downtime. The role also involves troubleshooting equipment failures, documenting maintenance activities, and coordinating with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability.





The technician is expected to follow safety protocols, support continuous improvement initiatives, and assist with installation or modification of mechanical systems as needed.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and general Maintenance of mechanical systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in Preventive Maintenance, including scheduled inspections and servicing of production machinery.
- Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair to diagnose faults and restore equipment to optimal condition.
- Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline is preferred.
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, ideally in glass, solar, or process industries, is an advantage.
- Knowledge of safety standards, use of hand and power tools, and basic understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and rotating equipment.
- Ability to read technical drawings, follow standard operating procedures, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Strong teamwork, communication skills, and readiness to work in shifts as required by production schedules.
