Job Summary The Design Coordinator (Mechanical) shall be responsible for coordinating the complete design and engineering activities related to EOT Cranes, Gantry Cranes, Jib Cranes, Hoists and other material handling equipment. The position will act as a bridge between Sales, Design, Production, Purchase, Quality and Project Execution teams to ensure timely release of engineering drawings and successful execution of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities

Design Coordination

- Coordinate design activities for customized and standard crane projects.

- Review customer specifications, technical enquiries and purchase orders.

- Prepare project design schedules and monitor engineering milestones.

- Ensure timely release of GA drawings, fabrication drawings and BOMs.





- Coordinate with sales and project teams for technical clarifications.

Cross Functional Coordination

- Coordinate with Production, Purchase and Quality departments regarding design requirements.

- Resolve design-related manufacturing and site issues.

- Participate in project review meetings and progress monitoring.

Documentation Control

- Maintain drawing registers and revision records.

- Ensure proper document control and engineering data management.

- Maintain design databases, standard drawings and technical libraries.
