Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, machines, and systems. Create and modify 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings. Prepare detailed engineering drawings with GD&T;, tolerances, fits, and surface-finish requirements.

Perform mechanical calculations related to strength, load, stress, torque, vibration, and thermal requirements. Select appropriate materials, fasteners, bearings, motors, shafts, gears, and other mechanical components. Conduct design reviews and identify opportunities for cost, weight, and performance optimization.

Work closely with manufacturing, production, quality, electrical, and procurement teams. Develop prototypes and support testing, validation, and troubleshooting. Analyze design failures and implement corrective actions.





Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards and safety requirements. Prepare BOMs, specifications, engineering documentation, and revision records. Support new product development and engineering change activities.

Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, AutoCAD, or NX. Knowledge of GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, DFM/DFA, and engineering drawing standards. Understanding of materials, machining, sheet metal, welding, casting, forging, and fabrication.

Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of basic FEA and simulation tools is an advantage. Good communication and teamwork skills.
