We are looking for a Manager US Accounting with strong end-to-end accounting expertise and extensive hands-on experience with QuickBooks and US clients. The ideal candidate should have the ability to independently manage client relationships, lead a team of accounting professionals, review deliverables, and ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team handling end-to-end accounting activities for US clients.
- Own the overall accounting process, including Bookkeeping, AP, AR, GL, Bank Reconciliations, Journal Entries and Month-End Close.
- Have robust hands-on experience working on QuickBooks and be comfortable reviewing and troubleshooting accounting transactions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for US clients for accounting-related matters.
- Understand client requirements, manage expectations and ensure timely resolution of queries.
- Review the team's work for accuracy, completeness and compliance with accounting standards.
- Plan and allocate work across the team and ensure deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.
- Conduct regular team reviews, provide feedback and coach team members.
- Take ownership of team performance, productivity and quality metrics.
- Identify process gaps and drive process improvements and standardization.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities and ensure timely reporting.
- Handle escalations and resolve complex accounting issues independently.
- Work closely with US stakeholders and demonstrate strong client management and communication skills.
Required Skills
- Strong end-to-end accounting knowledge.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with QuickBooks.
