- Tracking market developments in the power sector BESS Storage, Solar, Wind and Transmission,
- Analyzing sectoral trends, commodity prices and major equipment price data to provide necessary inputs in the bids to increase Apraavas competitiveness
- Develop and maintain a cost data base for building cost models for RE and Transmission projects
- Develop tools and processes for effective Cost Control with Variance Analysis for Contract Management and Vendor performance monitoring
- Support the team on Contract discussions and negotiations for strategic procurement for RE and Transmission projects

Market analysis

- Track trends, emerging technologies, and policy developments across:
- Solar Energy
- Wind Energy
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Power Transmission
- Monitor commodity prices, equipment markets, and supply chain dynamics.
- Analyze market data to identify opportunities that improve project competitiveness.

Strategic Initaitves
- Drive the competitive advantage for Apraava with the following :
- Identify cost drivers for key equipment of RE and Transmission projects (solar panels, BESS, MMS, WTG etc)
- Define the sourcing strategy for the key equipment and identify vendors for the same
- Maintain a database of costs and build costing model for RE and Transmission projects to support the bidding team




- Develop tools and track project cost with variance analysis of project costs

Project based Procurement and Contracts
- Support preparation of contracting strategy for a project
- Assist the line manager in identifying the potential vendors for the project requirement – vendor evaluation criteria and vendor evaluation and selection
- Support line manager in contract discussions and negotiations of EPC contracts, critical item supply/service contracts

Management Reporting
- Prepare periodic management updates, dashboards and presentations on market developments and evolving supply chain scenarios
- Ensure accuracy, consistency and timely updating of project and market information
- Assist line manager in collating data and making presentations for update to Apraava senior management and Board

5. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Educational Qualifications

- Bachler in Engineering and MBA from a reputed institute

Functional Skills

- Basic understanding of power sector
- Basic skills of MS office and AI tools
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills

Relevant and total years of Experience

- Overall experience: Fresher, or one or two years of experience in infra company
