Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and IMS DB.
- Provide production support and resolve critical incidents in a timely manner.
- Perform impact analysis, code changes, and testing for system enhancements.
- Work with Endevor for version control, code migration, and deployment.
- Track, manage, and update tasks using JIRA in an agile environment.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements.
- Support and optimize lending-related business processes and applications.
- Ensure application stability, performance, and compliance with development standards.
Domain / Functional Skills
- Strong functional understanding of Loan and Lending processes across the application lifecycle
- knowledge of the end-to-end lending lifecycle, including:
- Loan Origination – application capture, validation, and approval workflows
- Loan Servicing – account maintenance, updates, and customer management
- Payment Processing – handling collections, postings, and reconciliation
- Interest & Charges – calculation, accruals, and fee management
- Repayment Schedules – EMI setup, amortization, and schedule tracking
- Settlement / Closure – foreclosure, early settlement, and account closure processes
- Customer & Account Management – agreement-level and account-level processing
