Liaisoning Manager / Regulatory Affairs Manager

You will be responsible for managing end-to-end statutory approvals and regulatory coordination for residential and redevelopment projects in Mumbai, ensuring timely clearances and full compliance across all stages. This role requires strong hands-on experience with MCGM processes, structured tracking, and effective coordination with authorities, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth project progression.

About the Role

● Manage end-to-end liaisoning activities for assigned Mumbai projects, ensuring timely procurement of all statutory approvals and clearances.

● Coordinate with MCGM and allied authorities to obtain approvals such as IOD, Commencement Certificate (CC), Occupancy Certificate (OC), Building Completion Certificate (BCC), and other required NOCs.

● Handle redevelopment-related approvals including society documentation, amendments, and compliance conditions.

● Coordinate approvals with allied authorities such as Fire Department, Environment, Tree Authority, Traffic, and Airport Authority where applicable.

● Prepare and submit all required drawings, documents, and applications in line with Development Control & Promotion Regulations (DCPR) and statutory norms.

● Track approval status through structured systems, ensuring timely follow-ups, query resolution,



and closure of authority observations.

● Work closely with architects, liaison consultants, legal, and project teams to ensure alignment between design, documentation, and approval requirements.

● Maintain accurate and updated records of all approvals, submissions, licenses, and regulatory communications.

● Build and maintain working relationships with MCGM officials and key regulatory stakeholders.

About You

● Graduate in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

● 8–12 years of experience in liaisoning and regulatory approvals with Mumbai-based real estate developers.

● Robust hands-on experience with MCGM approvals and redevelopment projects.

● Practical understanding of DCPR, approval workflows, and statutory compliance processes.

● Effective communication and relationship management with government authorities and stakeholders.
