About the roleAs a Legal Research Intern at Jurisphere, you become part of the team that teaches our AI models how the law actually works and does it rigorously. Your work directly fuels our reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF) pipeline: the process by which practicing and student lawyers correct, rank, and refine AI outputs so the model learns to reason like a lawyer.

This is your chance to work on the building side of legal AI and shape how the next generation of legal technology is developed, from the ground up.

You will:

- Grade AI outputs (RLHF): Read the model's answers to legal questions and rate them for accuracy, faithfulness to authority, and lawyerly reasoning. Rank competing outputs head-to-head. Your ratings become the reinforcement signal that trains the next version of the model.

- Build legal benchmarks: Help design the tests that measure whether an AI can genuinely reason about Indian law—contract interpretation,



statutory construction, precedent application, jurisdictional issues. You'll define what "getting it right" means.

- Write research notes: Short doctrinal memos on niche areas of law (competition, contracts, IP, IBC, arbitration, tax, etc.) that become reference material for model training. Your synthesis becomes foundational.

- Collaborate with the engineering team: Your feedback shapes what the model does next. The most valuable interns are the ones who tell us where the model is confidently wrong .

You'll fit here if you have:

- Solid legal research and writing skills - You can find the authority, read it carefully, and summarize it accurately. You understand the difference between a supporting point and a controlling argument.

- Attention to detail - The kind of detail that catches a wrongly-cited section or a subtle distinguishing fact. The kind that matters in law.

- Comfort with sustained, focused work - This is patient, methodical work,closer to law review editing than court hearings and you find it satisfying.

- Genuine intellectual curiosity about how AI will reshape the legal profession, and the drive to be on the building side of that transformation rather than observing from the sidelines.

Mandatory Requirements

- Law Graduate from any reputed college (enrolment not mandatory)
- Being able to commute to Bangalore Office in HSR Layout 5 days a week
