The platform offers meaningful practical exposure that strengthens skilled portfolios and prepares participants for careers as advocates and legal professionals.
Interns may receive official certifications and Letters of Recommendation (LOR) based on performance, and work within a collaborative environment that values integrity, punctuality, and professional excellence.
Role Description The Legal Intern role is a full-time, in Online Mode. The intern will assist with case law research, analysis, and preparation of brief notes and case summaries for ongoing projects.
Daily responsibilities include supporting legal document drafting, reviewing legal agreements under supervision, and organizing legal materials and precedents.
The role also involves contributing to internal discussions on legal issues, preparing reports, and assisting with client-facing or community-oriented legal initiatives as needed. The intern will work closely with mentors and coordinators,
follow project timelines, and maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Law, including understanding of legal principles, statutes, and case law.
- Ability to support Legal Consulting activities, such as basic legal analysis and assisting in advisory work under supervision.
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting contracts, petitions, notices, and legal opinions with attention to detail.
- Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, for drafting clear documents, reports, and participating in discussions.
- Capability to identify, interpret, and analyze Legal Issues in case files, agreements, and research materials.
- Currently enrolled in law degree or recently completed a law degree (LLB or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Strong research skills, critical thinking, and the ability to synthesize complex information concisely.
- High level of integrity, punctuality, and commitment to professional ethics and confidentiality.
- Proficiency with common office productivity tools and legal research platforms is an advantage.
- Prior internship or moot court experience in litigation, legal aid, or related fields is beneficial.
