Lead – System Engineering

Job Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the System Engineering function for automotive electronic product development.
- Define system architecture, technical specifications, interfaces and system-level requirements based on customer needs.
- Drive requirements analysis, allocation, traceability and change management across Hardware, Software and Mechanical teams.
- Lead system-level design reviews and ensure alignment between product architecture and customer requirements
- Coordinate with Hardware, Embedded Software, Mechanical, Validation, Quality and Project Management teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Drive system integration, verification and validation activities and ensure timely closure of technical issues
- Review and approve system requirements, architecture, interface specifications and technical deliverables
- Ensure implementation of Functional Safety, ASPICE, DFMEA and other applicable automotive engineering processes.
- Lead technical discussions and reviews with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Identify system-level risks, dependencies and technical gaps and establish mitigation plans
- Provide technical guidance for complex product and system-level troubleshooting
- Drive reuse,



standardization and continuous improvement of system engineering processes and architectures.
- Build, mentor and develop the System Engineering team and establish technical competency frameworks
- Support technology roadmap, product strategy and future platform development.
- Ensure system engineering deliverables meet quality, cost, performance and project timelines.

Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech. Electronics / ECE / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering

Experience 15-20 Years

Technical Details

- Strong leadership experience in System Engineering for automotive electronic products
- Expertise in system architecture, requirements engineering and product development lifecycle
- Strong understanding of automotive Instrument Clusters, Displays, Infotainment, Telematics and electronic control systems
- Experience in defining system requirements, interfaces, specifications and system-level architecture
- Strong knowledge of Hardware, Embedded Software and HW-SW integration
- Understanding of CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C, UART and automotive communication networks
- Knowledge of System FMEA, DFMEA, Functional Safety, ISO 26262 and ASPICE
- Experience in system-level verification, validation, integration and troubleshooting
- Customer requirement analysis, technical reviews and stakeholder management
- Strong project planning, risk management, technical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Solid leadership, team management and mentoring capabilities
