Accountant – Food Court

Location: Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to handle the day-to-day accounting and financial records of our food court operations.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, be comfortable working with daily sales, purchases, expenses and payment records, and be able to prepare accurate reports for management.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily sales records from food court outlets.
- Record and verify cash, UPI and card transactions.
- Maintain daily purchase and expense records.
- Track stock purchases and consumption-related records.
- Maintain supplier accounts and outstanding payments.
- Maintain customer/corporate billing and receivable records.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales and expense reports.
- Prepare basic Profit & Loss statements and management reports.
- Reconcile cash collections with sales records.
- Reconcile bank, UPI and card transactions.
- Maintain bills, invoices, vouchers and other accounting documents.
- Track outlet-wise income and expenses.
- Monitor staff salary and payment records.
- Assist management in identifying discrepancies in sales, purchases and expenses.




- Maintain organized accounting files and records.
- Prepare reports and summaries using Microsoft Excel.

Requirements
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Previous experience in accounting, preferably in a restaurant, food court, hotel, catering or retail business, will be an advantage.
- Basic understanding of sales, purchases, expenses and Profit & Loss.
- Positive numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Honest, responsible and organized.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Candidates who can join immediately are preferred.
