Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented and technically sound QC Engineer to ensure that products manufactured at the factory meet defined quality standards and specifications. The candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections at various stages of production, identifying quality issues, maintaining QC records, and coordinating with Production, R&D;, PPC, and other departments for corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities· Conduct incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections of materials and finished products.

· Inspect sheet-metal components for dimensions, bending accuracy, holes, slots, alignment, and workmanship.

· Verify products against drawings, BOM, specifications, samples, and quality standards.

· Perform dimensional inspection using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Measuring Tape, Height Gauge, and Angle Gauge.

· Monitor quality at various manufacturing processes including laser cutting, bending, fabrication, assembly, and painting.

· Identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities and ensure timely corrective action.

· Prepare and maintain Inspection Reports, NCRs, Rejection Reports, Quality Check Sheets, and other QC records.

· Coordinate with Production and concerned departments for root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

· Conduct first-piece inspection and ensure approval before starting batch production.

· Monitor recurring quality issues and prepare quality improvement reports.

· Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, inspection standards, and company quality procedures.

· Support implementation and maintenance of 5S and ISO 9001:2015 quality practices.

· Assist in preparing and updating quality standards,



inspection checklists, and control plans.

· Maintain proper records of rejected, reworked, and approved components.

· Conduct regular process audits and identify opportunities for improvement.

· Coordinate with R&D;/Design for resolving drawing and product-related quality issues.

· Ensure proper identification and segregation of OK, Rework, and Rejected material.

· Participate in customer complaint analysis and support corrective actions wherever required.

Required Skills· Good knowledge of Quality Control and Quality Assurance practices.

· Good understanding of sheet-metal manufacturing and fabrication processes.

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

· Knowledge of basic measuring instruments and dimensional inspection.

· Understanding of NCR, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why, and Fishbone Analysis.

· Basic knowledge of MS Excel and documentation.

· Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Good communication and coordination skills.

· Ability to work in a factory/manufacturing environment.

Qualification· Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.

· 1–3 years of experience in QC/Quality Control in a manufacturing industry preferred.

· Candidates with experience in sheet metal, furniture, modular kitchen, fabrication, automotive, or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.
