/ Ai Overview Nagarro is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java L3 Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru. This critical full time role involves providing expert technical support for business-critical applications, ensuring seamless operations and effective resolution of complex issues.

If you possess a strong background in Java/J2EE, cloud technologies like AWS, and robust database knowledge, you are encouraged to apply for this challenging Java L3 Support position.

As a key member of our support team, you will be instrumental in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving high-priority incidents, while also contributing to preventative measures and system enhancements. This role requires a proactive approach, strong problem-solving capabilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of service reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide expert first-line technical support for business-critical applications, taking complete ownership of problem diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution.
- Analyze production incidents, perform necessary bug fixes, implement technical enhancements,



and conduct thorough Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Support complex applications built using Java/J2EE, AWS, Kubernetes, Microservices architecture, and PaaS environments.
- Proficiently write, understand, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and stored procedures, particularly for data-related issues.
- Perform daily application, system, and database health checks across diverse production environments to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor and manage business-critical batch workloads, real-time/interactive processing, and data transfer services.
- Collaborate closely with data analysts, business analysts, DBAs, and development teams to enhance and support production services effectively.
- Ensure strict compliance with established incident management and change management processes, including preparing and maintaining accurate incident documentation.

Requirements

- A minimum of 2.5 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development and L3 application support within a production environment.
- Proven expertise with containerization and orchestration technologies, specifically Kubernetes (K8s), and cloud platforms like AWS.
- Strong working knowledge of Microservices Architecture and experience supporting such distributed systems.
- Demonstrable proficiency with relational databases, including Oracle and MySQL, and advanced skills in writing and troubleshooting SQL queries.




- Experience in a Production Support or Application Support environment, with a strong focus on complex troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka and version control tools like Git.
- Ability to understand and support applications on UNIX/Linux operating systems and experience with scheduling tools like Control-M.
- Immediate to 30-day joiners are preferred for this Java L3 Support Engineer role.
