We are looking for an experienced Inventory Lead to manage and control inventory operations within the warehouse. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, stock reconciliation, cycle counts, audits, stock movement, and ensuring adherence to warehouse SOPs.

The ideal candidate should have robust experience in warehouse inventory management and the ability to lead a team while coordinating with warehouse and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

- Manage day-to-day inventory operations within the warehouse.
- Monitor inbound, outbound, put-away, picking, packing, and stock movement activities.
- Maintain accurate physical and system inventory.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure proper storage and location management.
- Track damaged, short, excess, ageing, and non-moving inventory.
- Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.

Inventory Accuracy & Reconciliation
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical stock audits.
- Reconcile physical inventory with WMS/ERP/system stock.
- Identify inventory discrepancies and investigate root causes.
- Ensure timely closure of inventory variances.
- Maintain records of stock adjustments and inventory transactions.
- Drive initiatives to improve overall inventory accuracy.

Warehouse Operations
- Coordinate with inbound and outbound teams to ensure accurate stock movement.
- Ensure proper binning, labelling, and location mapping of inventory.
- Monitor stock transfers and ensure system transactions are completed accurately.
- Ensure adherence to warehouse SOPs, safety standards, and inventory processes.
- Support warehouse audits and compliance checks.

Team Management
- Lead and supervise the inventory team.




- Allocate daily tasks and monitor team productivity.
- Train team members on inventory processes, WMS, and SOPs.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide operational guidance.
- Ensure discipline and process compliance within the team.

Reporting & MIS
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Track inventory accuracy, variance, ageing, shrinkage, and stock movement.
- Share inventory MIS and exception reports with management.
- Highlight critical inventory issues and ensure timely resolution.

Process Improvement
- Identify gaps in inventory and warehouse processes.
- Implement measures to reduce inventory variance and shrinkage.
- Improve inventory handling, storage, and reconciliation processes.
- Support WMS/system-related improvements and automation initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in Warehouse Inventory Management.
- Experience in inventory reconciliation, cycle counting, and stock audits.
- Hands-on experience with WMS/ERP systems.
- Good knowledge of warehouse processes and inventory controls.
- Strong MS Excel and reporting skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong team-handling and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Experience 36 years of experience in Warehouse Inventory, Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations, or Supply Chain Operations.

Experience in E-commerce, Logistics, FMCG, Retail, Quick Commerce, or Fulfillment Centres will be preferred.
