Role Description The Interior Purchase Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing end-to-end procurement activities for interior projects. This position manages vendor sourcing, negotiation, and selection for materials such as carpentry items, electrical fixtures, plumbing supplies, gypsum products, HVAC components, paints, and finishes.

The role involves preparing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, ensuring material quality, and coordinating closely with project managers, site engineers, and design teams to meet project timelines and specifications.

The Interior Purchase

Manager monitors inventory levels,



maintains accurate purchase records, and optimizes costs while adhering to company standards and client requirements. The role also includes building strong supplier relationships, assessing vendor performance, and supporting continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Qualifications

- Robust knowledge of interior fit-out materials and services, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, gypsum work, HVAC, painting, and civil work.
- Proficiency in procurement, vendor sourcing, negotiation, and contract management for interior and construction projects.
- Experience with purchase order management, inventory control, cost optimization, and timely material delivery.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with project management, design, and site execution teams to align purchases with project requirements.
- Comfort with using ERP or procurement software, spreadsheets, and documentation tools to maintain accurate records.
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to manage multiple vendors and projects simultaneously.
- Prior experience as a Purchase Manager or in a similar procurement role in interiors, construction, or related industries is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business, Civil/Interior Engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
