– Interior Designer (Modular Furniture)

Position: Interior Designer

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop modular furniture and interior solutions based on client requirements.
- Prepare detailed 2D/3D designs, layouts, elevations, and furniture drawings.
- Understand client requirements, space measurements, functionality, and design preferences.
- Prepare designs for modular kitchens, wardrobes, storage units, TV units, office furniture, and other customized furniture.
- Coordinate with clients, sales teams, production teams, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Select suitable materials, finishes, hardware, laminates, and accessories.
- Prepare accurate BOQ, cutting lists, material specifications, and costing inputs wherever required.
- Conduct site visits and take accurate measurements.
- Modify designs based on client feedback and production requirements.
- Ensure designs are practical, aesthetically appealing, and feasible for manufacturing.
- Coordinate with the production team to resolve design-related issues during manufacturing and installation.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of modular furniture and interior design.




- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, or other relevant design software.
- Good understanding of furniture materials such as MDF, plywood, particle board, laminates, veneers, and hardware.
- Knowledge of modular furniture construction, dimensions, fittings, and installation.
- Good space-planning and visualization skills.
- Strong communication and client-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Experience 2–5 years of relevant experience in modular furniture, kitchen, wardrobe, or interior design.

Freshers with solid design skills and relevant software knowledge may also be considered.

Education

Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Furniture Design, or a related field.
