Key Responsibilities

- Provide

L1/L2 application support for hospital applications and healthcare IT systems.

- Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and provide timely resolutions.

- Monitor application performance, availability, and system health.

- Coordinate with development, infrastructure, database, and vendor teams for issue resolution.

- Support hospital applications such as

HIS/HIMS, EMR, LIS/LIMS, PACS, billing, pharmacy, laboratory, and clinical applications

.

- Handle user tickets, incidents, service requests, and escalations within defined SLAs.

- Assist in application configuration, upgrades, patches, testing, and deployments.

- Support integrations between hospital applications and other systems/APIs.

- Work closely with clinical and non-clinical users to understand business requirements and resolve application-related issues.

- Perform basic database queries and troubleshooting using

SQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL

.

- Maintain proper documentation of incidents, resolutions, configurations, and support procedures.

- Participate in application testing, UAT, release management,



and implementation activities.

- Ensure data integrity, system availability, security, and compliance with organizational IT policies.

- Provide user training and technical guidance whenever required.

Required Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in

Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

.

- 2–6 years of experience in

Application Support / IT Support / Healthcare IT

.

- Good understanding of

HIS/HIMS, EMR, LIS/LIMS, PACS

, or other healthcare applications is preferred.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Working knowledge of

SQL and databases

.

- Understanding of

APIs, application integrations, and system interfaces

.

- Knowledge of

SDLC, incident management, change management, and IT support processes

.

- Positive communication and stakeholder-management skills.

- Ability to work with hospital users, vendors, and technical teams.

- Healthcare domain experience will be an added advantage.
