We are seeking an Independent External Expert (IEE) — Cybersecurity, to join our Risk Management Committee (RMC) at the Board level.

About the Role

As cybersecurity risk becomes a Board-level priority, we are strengthening our RMC with an independent expert who can provide informed, external oversight on cyber risk governance, regulatory compliance, and resilience strategy.

What You'll Do

- Advise the RMC on cyber risk governance, threat landscape trends, and control effectiveness
- Provide independent oversight on compliance with IRDAI cybersecurity guidelines, CERT-In directions, and applicable provisions of the IT Act, 2000 (including DPDPA where relevant)
- Review incident response readiness, breach reporting protocols, and crisis management preparedness
- Present periodic Board-level briefings translating technical cyber risk into governance and business impact
- Bring an independent, external perspective to strategic technology and cyber-related decisions

What We're Looking For





- Minimum 1 year of Board or Board-Committee level governance experience (Independent Director, Advisory Board, or equivalent)
- Solid working knowledge of IRDAI cybersecurity/regulatory guidelines and CERT-In directions
- Senior leadership background in cybersecurity (CISO/CTO/consulting) with demonstrated strategic and operational depth
- Ability to communicate technical risk clearly to a non-technical Board audience
- No conflicting board, advisory, or vendor relationships with the organization or its group entities
