Experience :-8–10yrs ( Import of Chemicals or Additives)

Experience in handling import shipments through Sea(major), of more than 100 shipments per month .Hands-on experience with Indian Customs procedures and import documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Strong knowledge of import freight forwarding, managing pricing with shipping line / agent and expert in international logistics.Coordinate end-to-end import shipments from international suppliers to India.
- Liaise with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, CHA (Custom House Agents), transporters, and warehouses.
- Arrange shipment bookings and monitor cargo movement to ensure timely delivery.
- Handle and verify import documentation, including:

Bill of Lading (B/L)

Dual NOC

Commercial Invoice

Packing List

Certificate of Origin

Insurance Documents

Bill of Entry (BOE)

Delivery Orders

- Coordinate customs clearance with CHA and ensure compliance with DGFT, ICEGATE, and Indian Customs regulations.
- Track shipments, update stakeholders on shipment status, and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Ensure timely duty payment, customs clearance, and transportation to the warehouse/plant.




- Negotiate freight rates with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and transport vendors to optimize logistics costs.
- Verify freight, customs, and transporter invoices before processing payments.

Required Skills

- Sound understanding of Indian Customs, DGFT, ICEGATE, HS Codes,
- Experience in coordinating with CHAs, shipping lines, and freight forwarders.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Solid communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and work within tight deadlines.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
