Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end Fund Accounting activities for clients assigned to them.

- Review and validate Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations and related reporting activities.

- Oversee daily, monthly and quarterly fund accounting processes, ensuring adherence to client SLAs and regulatory requirements.

- Lead and manage a team of 3 to 5 associates, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management.

- Review fund expenses, income allocations, accruals, and reconciliations.

- Ensure timely and accurate processing of investment transactions, corporate actions, and cash reconciliations.

- Analyze and resolve accounting breaks, valuation issues, and reconciliation discrepancies.

- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including clients, custodians, auditors, and investment managers.

- Support audits and regulatory reporting requirements.

- Drive process improvement initiatives, automation opportunities, and operational efficiency.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, fund governing documents, and internal control requirements.





Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Fund Accounting or related financial services operations.

- Experience in handling a team of 3 to 5 team members.

- Strong understanding of fund accounting principles, investment accounting, and financial reporting.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and fund accounting platforms/tools.

- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
