IBM API Connect _JD:

We're looking for a seasoned professional with 8–10 years of hands-on experience in IBM API Connect and IBM DataPower Gateway to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable API solutions. This role will lead upgrade and migration project from APIC v5 to v10.0.8.x (LTS) within a Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I) environment.

Job Location: Bangalore or Gurgaon

Availability: Immediate Joiner / Short Notice Period

Travel: Willing to travel onsite for critical deployment phases if required

Key Responsibilities:

Parallel Infrastructure Setup: Deploy and configure API Connect v10, CP4I (v16.1.0+), and IBM DataPower Gateway (v10.6.0.y+) on OpenShift.

Data Migration: Extract and migrate provider orgs, catalogs, and subscriptions from APIC v5 to v10 using the API Connect Migration Utility (AMU).

Gateway Transition:



Port and test legacy APIs from the v5-compatible gateway over to the high-performance v10 Native API Gateway.

Policy Remediation: Refactor complex legacy v5 JavaScript policies, gateway extensions, and custom OAuth providers.

Required Skills:

8–10 years of enterprise API management experience with IBM middleware technologies.

Deep expertise in IBM API Connect (v5 and v10 architectures) and the AMU tool.

Solid command over DataPower administration, Gateway Extensions, and CP4I deployments on OpenShift.

Proven track record of managing multi-version API infrastructure upgrades without production downtime.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
