Role - Hyperion Essbase Developer / EPM Developer

Location - Hyderabad

Scope of Work

- Support and enhance Essbase cube design, calculation logic, and reporting structures
- Build and maintain data integrations between Hyperion Planning/Essbase and upstream/downstream systems (ERP, data warehouses, FDMEE/Data Management, ODI, etc.)
- Develop and maintain calc scripts, business rules, and MaxL scripts
- Troubleshoot data load failures, integration breaks, and reporting discrepancies
- Support enhancement requests tied to business/finance reporting needs
- Participate in an on-call rotation for production support
- Collaborate with infrastructure and finance business teams to ensure end-to-end data accuracy

Required Skillset

- 4–8 years working with Essbase (BSO and/or ASO) in an enterprise finance/EPM environment




- Solid experience with calc scripts, MaxL, and business rules
- Hands-on experience with data integration tools such as FDMEE/Data Management or ODI
- Solid SQL skills for data validation and troubleshooting
- Experience supporting Hyperion Planning in conjunction with Essbase
- Understanding of financial reporting concepts (consolidations, planning cycles, etc.)

Nice to Haves

- Oracle Cloud EPM (PBCS/EPBCS) exposure
- EPM Automate / scripting for automated integration jobs
- Experience integrating with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle EBS, etc.)
- Prior experience supporting eCommerce or fintech finance teams

Experience with large-scale, high-transaction-volume data environments
