About The Role

At HUFT, we believe that every animal deserves to be treated as family. The HUFT Foundation is where that belief extends beyond our customers and into the lives of animals who need us the most.

For the last seven years, the Foundation has worked with NGOs, shelters, rescuers and community caregivers to create a kinder relationship between people and urban animals. From feeding and hydration to adoption, shelter support, education and advocacy, the work is about making life better for the animals who share our cities with us.

We are looking for someone to lead the next chapter of the HUFT Foundation.

This is not a traditional CSR role. You will own the Foundation's direction, build its voice and community, grow fundraising, create meaningful partnerships and turn the work we do into meaningful impact.

You will be the person who makes more people care.

The ideal person is deeply passionate about animals, particularly streeties and Indies. Someone who can spend time with feeders, rescuers and shelters, understand what they need, tell their stories with honesty and emotion, and then bring together people, brands and communities to create real impact.

Key Responsibilities / What You Will DoBuild The Foundation

- Own the strategy, priorities and annual roadmap for the HUFT Foundation.

- Build on existing initiatives across feeding, water, shelter support, adoption, education and community animal welfare.

- Identify new opportunities where HUFT can create meaningful and measurable impact for animals.

- Build scalable programmes rather than one-off activities that depend on individual effort.

Fundraising & Partnerships

- Build and grow fundraising programmes that bring together HUFT customers, pet parents, brands and the wider community.

- Develop partnerships with NGOs, shelters, rescuers, corporates, institutions and like-minded brands.

- Create partnerships that bring both funding and meaningful participation into the Foundation.

- Build long-term relationships with the people doing the work on the ground.

Adoption & Community Animals





- Grow adoption as an important part of HUFT's role in animal welfare.

- Build on platforms such as Adopt Joy, connecting animals in need with families looking to adopt.

- Strengthen HUFT's relationships with shelters, rescuers and community caregivers.

- Find new ways to make Indies and streeties more visible, understood and valued.

- Build programmes that make responsible animal care easier for ordinary people to participate in.

Build a Community Around the Foundation

- Grow communities such as HUFT Tribe into an active network of animal lovers, volunteers, donors and advocates.

- Create meaningful ways for people to participate through volunteering, fundraising, events, education and community action.

- Build a sense that being part of HUFT means being part of something bigger than the brand.

- Turn occasional supporters into an engaged community that keeps showing up.

Storytelling & Advocacy

- Own the Foundation's storytelling across social, digital, PR, events and other relevant platforms.

- Find the human stories behind the work and make people care about them.

- Build a strong point of view around streeties, Indies, adoption and peaceful coexistence.

- Work with the Social, Brand and Creative teams to turn Foundation work into compelling stories and campaigns.

- Represent the Foundation externally as a strong, credible and engaging voice for animal welfare.

The Foundation already has a strong body of work to build from, including Feed A Dog In Need, water bowls, reflective collars, shelter support, educational programmes, Dogathon and store adoptions.

Create the Next Generation of Foundation IPs

We don't want the Foundation to only respond to problems.



We want it to create ideas that people remember and participate in.

You will be expected to build signature HUFT Foundation properties that can become bigger than individual campaigns, whether around adoption, community care, education, fundraising or coexistence.

The opportunity is to make the Foundation a place where people come to learn, participate, contribute and make a difference.

What You Need

- 7–8 years of experience in animal welfare, social impact, philanthropy, fundraising, community building, CSR or a closely related space.

- Strong experience building partnerships and working with NGOs, institutions, communities or external stakeholders.

- Solid fundraising and relationship-building skills.

- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, both written and verbal.

- A confident and engaging personality with the ability to represent HUFT externally.

- Strong project ownership and the ability to take an idea from thought to execution.

- Comfortable working on the ground with NGOs, shelters, feeders, rescuers and community caregivers.

- Strategic enough to build scalable programmes, but hands-on enough to make things happen.

- Resilient, resourceful and comfortable working in an environment where there is no fixed playbook.

You Will Feel Right at Home With Us If

You don't just like animals. You care deeply about what happens to them.

Streeties and Indies are not a category to you. They are part of your everyday life.

You can hear a difficult story about an animal and immediately think, "What can we actually do about this?"

You are comfortable asking for money for a cause you believe in, bringing people together, making the difficult calls and starting again when something doesn't work.

You can walk into a shelter in the morning, meet a potential partner in the afternoon and tell the story of that work to a room full of people that evening.

Most importantly, you want to leave behind a measurable difference in the lives of animals.
