We are looking for an experienced and responsible HR & Recruitment Manager to build and manage the complete HR system for our manufacturing plant.
The candidate will be responsible for factory labour recruitment, workforce planning, payroll management, HR policies, employee records, attendance, discipline, compliance and overall HR operations.
The ideal candidate should understand the working environment of a manufacturing/factory setup and be capable of creating proper HR systems and processes from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
1. Labour & Staff Recruitment
- Recruit factory workers, operators, helpers, supervisors and other required manpower.
- Develop regular labour recruitment sources and maintain a manpower pipeline.
- Coordinate interviews, selection, joining and documentation.
- Plan manpower requirements according to production needs.
- Reduce employee turnover and improve employee retention.
2. Manufacturing Plant HR Structure
- Create a proper HR structure for the manufacturing plant.
- Define departments, manpower requirements, job roles and responsibilities.
- Prepare employee hierarchy and reporting structure.
- Develop proper systems for worker allocation, shifts and workforce planning.
- Coordinate with production and management for manpower planning.
3. Attendance & Payroll Management
- Manage daily attendance, late coming, overtime, leave and shift records.
- Prepare and verify monthly payroll.
- Manage salary calculations, deductions, overtime and incentives.
- Maintain accurate employee and payroll records.
- Coordinate with accounts for timely salary processing.
4. HR Policies & Systems
- Develop and implement company HR policies and procedures.
- Create policies for attendance, leave, overtime, discipline, recruitment, salary, performance and employee conduct.
- Establish proper joining, confirmation, resignation and exit procedures.
- Prepare employee handbook/SOPs wherever required.
5. Employee Management
- Handle employee grievances and day-to-day HR issues.
- Maintain discipline and qualified working culture.
- Conduct employee counselling when required.
- Monitor employee performance and coordinate with department heads.
- Develop systems for employee evaluation and performance reviews.
6. Factory HR Operations
- Ensure adequate manpower is available according to production requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Dispatch and Management teams.
- Monitor worker attendance and productivity-related HR issues.
- Manage shift planning and replacement manpower when required.
- Maintain proper employee records and documentation.
7. Statutory Compliance
- Maintain HR records and ensure applicable labour-law and statutory requirements are followed.
- Coordinate with external consultants/CA/HR consultants wherever required.
- Manage documentation related to employee compliance, wages and statutory requirements.
8. HR Reporting
- Prepare monthly HR reports for management.
- Maintain reports for total manpower, attendance, absenteeism, overtime, recruitment, employee turnover and payroll.
- Maintain updated employee databases and HR files.
- Provide management with manpower and HR cost information for decision-making.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
