Compensation & Benefits Analyst (Temporary Contract - 6 Months)
Location: Gurgaon, India (Hybrid based on business needs)
Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (6 Months), extendable
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Compensation & Benefits Analyst to provide temporary support for key global HR projects and operational activities across Compensation, Benefits, Global Mobility, and Payroll. The role will support initiatives spanning multiple countries and regions, partnering with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and project teams to deliver high-quality data analysis, reporting, process documentation, and project coordination.
This position is ideal for a professional with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a disciplined approach to managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced global environment. The successful candidate will help ensure data accuracy, support project execution, and contribute to the effective administration of global HR programs and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation
- Support compensation projects including benchmarking, salary reviews, job evaluations, market pricing, and compensation cycle activities.
- Assist with compensation data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting.
- Prepare compensation-related reports, presentations, and project documentation.
- Conduct data quality reviews and ensure accuracy of compensation records.
Benefits
- Support benefits administration and ongoing benefits-related projects globally.
- Compile and analyze benefits data and utilization reports.
- Assist with vendor coordination, documentation, and project tracking.
- Support benefits communications and employee-facing materials as required.
Global Mobility
- Support mobility projects and program administration activities.
- Assist with tracking international assignments, relocations, and related data.
- Maintain mobility documentation, reports, and project records.
- Support audits, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
Payroll
- Support payroll-related projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Perform payroll data reviews, reconciliations, and validation activities.
- Coordinate with payroll vendors and internal stakeholders as required.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports using Excel and other reporting tools.
- Analyze HR data and identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure data integrity across multiple HR systems, databases, and reports.
Project Support
- Support global Compensation, Benefits, Mobility, and Payroll projects across multiple countries and regions.
- Collaborate with regional HR teams, Finance, Payroll, and external vendors.
- Track project milestones, action items, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Statistics, Economics, or a related field preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in Compensation, Benefits, HR Operations, Payroll, Finance, IT, Shared Services, or other related analytical functions, preferably in an international company
- Experience supporting projects involving data analysis, reporting, and process administration.
- Robust MS word, Powerpoint and excel skills
- Exposure to global organizations and multinational environments is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of PowerPoint required.
- Advanced English language skills
- Experience with HRIS, payroll, or reporting systems preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
